The Khan Academy – Free Online Education Resource

Posted in Uncategorized on April 16, 2011 by Bryan Crump

Are you limited in resources and mentors? Where can you find more resources to learn? Several months ago I found out about the Khan Academy. They have over 2200 videos from Basic Aritmetic (math) to chemistry, physics, business, investing and much much more.

Make no excuses my friend. We have more resources out there that you can possibly imagine. Sharing information and knowledge can help us to prevent the same mistakes that others have made. While it is important to learn certain lessons certain ways, remember that each person learns differently. Check out Khanacademy.org

Share it with your family and friends, if you know any students in school, whether it be children or adults, this website and many others can help people to learn much more. Do your research. Don’t give up just because you reach one dead end.

The Double Slit Experiment

Posted in Uncategorized on April 16, 2011 by Bryan Crump

What is the reality and what about how thought can be compared to this? Do our thoughts and brainwaves have similar potential and limitations?

I find this information very interesting, but as with any new information it is good to get as many perspectives and references as possible so that the truth may become clearer. Remember that one perspective does not always give the truth of the whole, but it can be the starting point for learning and inspiration.

So I have been working on posting my work on more portfolio sites. Here is a list of the 3 most recent:

http://www.dphotographer.co.uk/user/bryancrump

http://www.pshopcreative.co.uk/user/bryan_crump

http://www.advancedphotoshop.co.uk/user/bryancrump

They are some great websites, not just for the magazines, but for the resources too.

I definitely recommend checking out the websites, not just to look at my work, because I have a lot of the same images on each portfolio, but as a resource and to promote your own work if you areĀ  photographer, it could be a good thing.

I just finished this piece for the holidays. I had taken the original photo a few years ago, and it had been pretty popular. I wanted to do an illustration and fantasy effect with it just to see what I could come up with and this is the result. I hope you like it.

New Website design and Resource

Posted in News, Photo Tutorials, resource, resources with tags on December 8, 2007 by Bryan Crump

I am currently working on a new website design for one of my sites and am focusing it on being a resource website for artists, photographers and others.

Right now I am gathering tutorials andĀ  links to other website to make part of the network as well. I am also selecting different professionals from various creative fields to feature and talk about their work.

If there is anything you would like to see on such a website, let me know. Who are you favorite artists, photographers, animators, etc? What would you like to learn from them?

Are you looking for models? Do you know where to find them?

Maybe you are an artist or photographer or even a director. People often ask me where I find models for my photography and art. Well there is not short answer. I use a variety of different resources, which I am going to give you a list of here.

Keep in mind that a lot of the resources are portfolio sites, so in order to contact people on those website or forums, you will need to sign up and establish a portfolio of your own.

This can be a good thing as it will be another way for you to market your work and get it out there for people to see.

Here is a list of websites that I use and how they benefit:

One of the main website that I find models is called Modelmayhem.com , it is a great resource for finding models as well as networking with other photographers and yes even artist. You can find makeup artists, painters, all sorts of people on this site.

Myspace.com is a good place to have a profile and portfolio as well. You can find amatuers and professionals. You would be surprised how many people use this networking site as a resource.

There are several other websites and here is a list:

Onemodelplace.com

Onetalentsource.com

musecube.com

I also recommend doing your own research. You can find a lot of portfolio sites just doing a keyword search on google, yahoo, msn, aol or any other search engine.
